Many of our projects are much smaller scale. We often complete standalone bathroom, kitchen or other single room remodels, and also take on a whole variety of outdoor projects.
The size of a project does not equate to its level of difficulty. Some of our most challenging projects from a construction perspective are featured on this page. The picture galleries below show some examples of the jobs we have completed. All projects shown here were completed by Shawn Deaver Construction, LLC.
We have completed a lot of kitchen and bathroom projects. In addition to the pictures in the gallery below, you will also find kitchen and bathroom pictures in our more extensive remodel projects. We work closely with our clients to ensure they get the look they want. There are many different styles in the gallery below. Colors, texture, and tile choice are very personal to individual taste.
Kitchen 1 – Painted beadboard cabinets with antique glazing.
Our clients had been told that an extension to enlarge their dining room was impossible because it was on an inside corner of the home. Inside corner additions are more challenging because they require a strong knowledge of structure and framing, and an understanding of how this will impact the roofline. Shawn Deaver Construction made the impossible possible for these clients.

This was another structurally complex project. The brief was to add a master bathroom/closet to the upstairs master bedroom. This house was built in the 1930s. There was a small area of attic space adjacent to the master bedroom which was above the hallway. A new flooring system had to be constructed in this space as the existing framing was not up to code. This space became the new bathroom. In order to create a closet, the dormer was extended. The brick was impossible to match but the owner opted to remove the brick from the rear of the garage so we would have an exact match on the addition.

This seemingly small project is one of the most complex we have undertaken. The clients wanted to have an additional tier added to the roof of an existing gazebo on their land. The integrity of the original roof structure was from the rafters all meeting at the central point in the center, so removing this to add the extra level without the whole roof collapsing was not for the faint of heart. Shawn and his lead carpenter have 80+ years of experience between them, and it is that level of expertise with makes projects like this possible.
The Before - The Gazebo was built around 20 years ago. The owner wanted to change the roof structure to add an additional layer with windows.
This outdoor entertainment area was built for some of our repeat clients. We took their ideas and incorporated them with sound structural building practices and turned this area into something special that will be enjoyed by the family for years to come. The columns are solid concrete wrapped in stone. The exposed beams are 12x16 rough fir. Shawn designed custom brackets to connect the concrete columns to the beams. He also designed the gusset brackets that tie the beam together. Prior to installation, all metal work was powder coated. The finished porch was 24x26 ft. The roof was framed with an interior vault and tongue and groove cedar was used to finish the ceiling. All exposed materials were stained, and the overhang was wrapped with steel siding to match the existing home. The clients had the concrete stained later to complete the project. The new structure and roofline blended in seamlessly with the existing home.

We have done a wide variety of other outdoor projects. Shawn Deaver Construction LLC works closely with our clients to turn their ideas into reality. The scope and scale of our outdoor projects is only limited to our clients’ imagination! The gallery below shows the diversity of some of our more recent projects.
