Below are some of the commercial projects Shawn Deaver Construction LLC has completed. They are all very different in scale and type, and demonstrate the range of commercial services we can provide.
Bartlett's Lumbar has been in Pampa for many years but decided to build a new, much larger store here in town. They hired Shawn as the consultant to provide oversight of the entire project. This was a large-scale build that required substantial dirt and concrete work. The two steel buildings, which comprise the store and lumbar warehouse, total 42,000 SF. In addition to overseeing all phases of construction, Shawn Deaver Construction LLC also completed the interior build out of the offices, break room and restrooms. COVID 19 impacted this project more than any other with supply chain issues. Almost every part of this project was delayed from the steel buildings themselves being delayed over 18 months from the initial delivery date to much smaller items such as piping for the fire suppression system causing a 4-month delay right at the end of the project. The many delays were beyond anyone’s control so there was a great sense of relief for everyone involved when this was finally finished. The expansion of this business is great for our town and Shawn Deaver Construction is proud to call this lumber yard home.
Large buildings need substantial foundations. Each of the metal supports for the steel building will need a concrete pier. This is the hole for the pier and is 5’x5’x5’.
The Edward Jones Project was the total renovation of an old office building to house a new branch of the business. The building had been vacant for a couple of years and was in dire need of renovation. There was significant water damage from a roof leek which had been repaired prior to the start of this project. The existing offices and rest room were gutted and replaced. The reception area was enlarged. The exterior required a new commercial window and door, and the old shingle awning was reframed and replaced with metal. The entire interior was retextured and painted. New dropped ceilings were installed along with new flooring, trim and doors. The electrical system was upgraded to support the company’s IT needs, and new lighting installed throughout. The result was a modern, inviting, and functional office space.
Before - The building’s exterior needed an upgrade and rebranding for the new company. The shingle overhand was water damaged.
This project was a replacement kitchen for the First Christian Church in Miami TX. The old kitchen as not very functional and was in need of an update to better serve both the church and community. The kitchen was gutted to the studs and redesigned to have better workspace and flow. A hatch was opened into the function area. New custom oak cabinets were installed along with new appliances. The entire basement had new flooring laid. Shawn graduated from Miami so he loved working in his home town. The project liaison from the church was his third-grade teacher!
During – The kitchen was gutted to the studs and a serving hatch created into the church function room
